Another fabulous PacVet comes to a close!
Two days of shelter medicine topics, averaging 50 to 80 people per lecture, was pretty awesome for just starting to build this track.
As Program Chair of the shelter medicine track, I was thrilled to have a great line-up of speakers: Drs. Jeannine Berger and Wailani Sung from SFSPCA, Dr. Melinda Merck, and Dr. Sheila D’Arpino.

Next year, PacVet will take place in Long Beach and I’m hoping to get an even larger turnout!
Topics will include spay/neuter surgery, public health issues, and general shelter operations.
