Robin Vincent brings nearly 20 years of dedicated experience across animal welfare and pet-related industries. Her career has encompassed a broad spectrum of roles, from wildlife rescue and rehabilitation to leadership positions in animal sheltering and veterinary care. As a consultant and strategist with JVR Strategies, Robin partners with organizations to build more resilient, inclusive, and impactful programs. Her expertise in identifying operational efficiencies, developing innovative solutions, leveraging data and technology, and engaging in scientific research enables her to uncover connections that lead to forward-thinking applications and strategies.

Robin aligns her professional practices with a deep commitment to equity, compassion, and community well-being, seeking methods and solutions that support both animals and their people. Her early involvement with Human Animal Support Services (HASS) working groups and CARE REDI certification reflect her focus on more inclusive, community-centered approaches to animal welfare. That work continues today through research and consulting projects that elevate local voices and reimagine care systems from the ground up. Whether working with shelters, clinics, or community partners, Robin brings a framework that centers relationships, reduces barriers, and fosters dignity for both people and pets.

Robin is especially passionate about supporting the emotional and mental well-being of animal welfare professionals.  She helped build The Journey You Own (JYO), a mission-driven initiative that offers tools, practices, and shared spaces for reflection and connection among those doing the hard work of helping others. As a curriculum designer and coach for the Maddie’s Fund Leadership Program, she helps create learning environments that foster intentional leadership rooted in lived experience. 

Robin lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with her husband, daughter, son, and their dog. Outside of her professional pursuits, she finds joy and renewal in hiking, gardening, and leading a Girl Scout troop, activities that echo her commitment to community, environmental stewardship, and personal well-being.
